The Speiginer Brothers Serving WWII
Below are typical trucks that Julius worked on (and self-taught) on welding the aluminum starter housings (he said that typically the Ford and Dodge trucks were the worst). This new ability enabled him to be promoted to T-Sergeant (since he was the only one know that could do it).
There are few pictures of Julius and Louis together as adults. They were seldom separated from each other and had the first real separation when Julius went into The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) about 1937 for 3 years (making $37.50/month).

The service locations for Louis S. Speiginer are not known. The service locations for Julius B. Speiginer was Camp White Oregon. Julius B Speiginer was assigned to the 91st Infantry or "Fir Tree" Division where he was a Sergeant (T-Sargeant) in the motor pool.
